Who doesn't love mail?! Today I got my second package in the month I have been here. Can you believe I've been here a month already!?! I can't. Anyways, boy do I feel loved!! (and a little happy that Purim and its Mishloach Manot are timed so perfectly!) I got the first package from my brother and sister-in-law a few days ago and it is stocked with all kinds of goodies in it - the maple syrup and spices are especially great!. The second I got from my parents and had one of my favorite snack in it, cheesies!! as well as several other yummy looking fruit snacks.
It arrived like this:
Can you read the yellow label on the side? It says my package was opened by the Australian Post and was inspected by quarantine. They had slipped this little note inside:
So they didn't take anything but either their dogs or the x-ray machine were triggered by something they thought shouldn't be coming into the country. I'm glad it made it!
