First Few Days

I've been here a few days now and have had a couple days of orientation. I've been pretty consumed with an issue that needs to be resolved as soon as possible but I have been doing a few fun and unique things here in Oz.  Before I get to that here are some older pictures that I've only now had a chance to upload.

This is the daytime view from my bedroom window

Orientation begins for International and Study Abroad Students

Our first day included a free BBQ lunch of traditional Ozzie food. The skewer is kangaroo meat, the sausage is also kangaroo meat and the white pieces of meat are wombat meat. I only finished the kangaroo sausage- it was the tastiest for me. It was probably closest to lamb if I were to compare it. The wombat was kinda gross.

So you see I really am here! I had new adventures today but that will have to wait for another post.
